If you have an idea, treatment, concept, artwork, or other material you’d like Lion Forge to consider, you may submit such materials to Lion Forge, but only if you first acknowledge and agree to the Lion Forge Submission Policy and Submission Release Agreement.
Please note that if you choose to submit materials, we prefer that you send a link to publicly-posted portfolios. Any submissions in excess of 25 MB will not be accepted, and must be provided by sending a link.

The Lion Forge, LLC, its parents, subsidiaries, and affiliates (collectively, “Lion Forge”) appreciate that you would like to send your ideas, concepts, outlines, treatments, scripts, literary material, artwork, and other suggestions and materials (“Submission” or “Submissions”). On behalf of you and your parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, principals, licensors, sublicensors, licensees, sublicensees, agents, and/or assigns (collectively, “You” or “Your”), You acknowledge and agree that Your Submission is subject to this Submission Release Agreement (“Agreement”).

This agreement sets forth Your rights, and the rights and obligations of Lion Forge, to and with respect to any and all Submissions. This Agreement is necessary to avoid misunderstanding, and to protect everyone concerned. Please be aware that Lion Forge will only accept YourSubmission if You agree to the terms set forth in this Agreement.

Original Works. Lion Forge will only accept Submissions in written form. Your Submission will only be able to be considered at Your request, and with Your guarantee that You are the originator of all contents of the Submission and you have the legal right to submit it to Lion Forge for Consideration.

Disclosure to Lion Forge. You accept that Lion Forge may discuss Your Submission with employees, and possibly other individuals, to evaluate its potential at Lion Forge. You agree that any consideration of Your Submission does not create a confidential relationship between You and Lion Forge.

No Implied Contract. You agree that no contract or obligation of any kind is assumed by Lion Forge, or may be implied against Lion Forge by reason of Lion Forge’s acceptance and/or review of Your Submission and/or any discussions or negotiations Lion Forge may have concerning Your Submission. Specifically, You expressly agree that neither Your submission of any materials, nor Lion Forge’s review of Your Submission, nor its willingness to consider discussing Your Submission with You, constitutes or creates an implied-in-fact or implied-in-law contract, even if there exists an industry custom to the contrary.

Protection. You understand that Lion Forge is constantly developing entertainment and other properties from ideas generated by its employees or other outside sources, and that Lion Forge may already have had access to, and/or may have independently created in the past, by in the process of creating, or create in the future, ideas, concepts or other materials that may be similar or even identical to Your Submission. You understand that it is not uncommon for more than one individual or company to originate substantially similar ideas independent of each other. You hereby renounce any and all claims that Lion Forge misappropriated any ideas or portions of Your Submission in any future Lion Forge property or activity, except as set forth in the immediately following paragraph.

Compensation. You agree that Your entitlement to any compensation is entirely dependent upon and subject to Lion Forge and You entering into a new written contract (separate from this Agreement) signed by both parties and specifically related to Lion Forge’s use of YourSubmission. If Lion Forge and You do not enter into such a written contract, You will not be entitled to any compensation from Lion Forge whatsoever related to Your Submission. You further understand that Lion Forge will only have an obligation to get permission from You and to compensate You for those portions of Your Submission that are expressed in sufficient detail that they are protected under copyright law or other intellectual property laws.

No Acknowledgement of Intellectual Property Rights. You understand that neither Lion Forge’s consideration of Your submission, nor its willingness to negotiate a potential written contract with You regarding Your Submission, shall constitute an acknowledgement or acceptance by Lion Forge that You have any protectable copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights in Your Submission. You further understand that Lion Forge has not waived any rights it may have to contest any copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights You may claim to have in Your Submission.

Submission Not Returned. Lion Forge is not obligated to return Your Submission to You. You should keep a copy of any materials submitted. Do not send any materials You consider irreplaceable.

Modification in Writing Only. The above conditions may not be changed or waived, except in writing and signed by an officer of Lion Forge.

Blanket Release Form. By accepting this Agreement, You acknowledge and agree that these terms will hereby apply to any and all current as well as future Submissions, and that Lion Forge would not consider any Submission from You without Your acceptance of this Agreement. You also agree that this Agreement applies to any Submissions previouslysubmitted by You to Lion Forge, regardless of whether the previous Submission was submittedunder a prior version of this Agreement, or without any agreement at all.

Binding on All Parties. For the avoidance of doubt, please note that this Agreement applies to individuals signing on behalf of themselves and to individuals who will be submitting materials on behalf of others (e.g. a partnership, company, or other persons or legal entities), and is therefore binding on all such others as well. In order to accept the terms of this Agreement, You must be the owner of, or an authorized representative of the owner of, the materials in the Submission. In addition, if signing on behalf of others (as described above), You must have the legal right to accept the terms of this Agreement on their behalf.
